Specializing in breakfast, lunch & weekend brunch in People’s Republic of Berkeley. The Romans established Chester in 74 AD. It lies near the mouth of the River Dee and has everything you could wish for in a quintessential English town: timber-fronted buildings, a medieval cathedral and grand public buildings standing cheek by jowl, with centuries-old shops and pubs. Chester’s provides a similar historic surrounding. Chester’s was originally established in 1972 as the Egg Shop and Apple Press but was subsequently named after that old English town. This very unique restaurant and bar is situated within the elegant walls of Walnut Square in Gourmet Ghetto area, where you can enjoy a superb selection of breakfast and light lunch menu during daytime and a newly opened Tapas Bar in the evening. A unique deck on second floor is a perfect place to enjoy a cup of our Italian Lavazza coffee during daytime or a cocktail in the evening while a view of the Golden Gate and San Francisco Downtown. We are passionate about our staff and our customers and have built our business on customers' satisfaction and on an ongoing process of innovation in the kitchen and throughout the restaurant. Our determination is to put quality before profit, quality not just of our food, but also in every aspect of what we do. We go to great length to ensure that the food we prepare is fresh, healthy and of the highest quality. We very much enjoy the interaction with our customers, so please feel free to say hello and give us your thoughts before you leave. |
